Myra has experienced several interesting and varied careers, from designer/ craftsperson, teacher, Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), and presently, as certified massage therapist (CMT).
After working many years in the healthcare field, Myra was encouraged by her peers to pursue a certification in therapeutic massage. Reiki and CranioSacral Therapy were natural additions to her learning experience and skills base. She then integrated her newly acquired skills into her full time position as a COTA, while practicing therapeutic massage part time.
Myra then re-focused her career exclusively on massage therapy, bodywork and skin care. For over nine years she has been self-employed, contracting to local day spas, as well as maintaining a private practice. Spring of 2008, she opened her own massage business in Virginia Beach, where she continues to offer Therapeutic Massage, CranioSacral Therapy, Reiki, Skin Care, (to include facials and body scrubs) and On Site/Corporate Chair Massage.
